Commercial plumbers specialise in working with commercial businesses, properties, retail developments and housing. There are a number of similarities to domestic plumbing, with the main difference being that commercial properties have much larger or complex plumbing and heating systems. The plumbing facilities in commercial properties also usually have much higher demand and usage than residential systems.
In residential plumbing, there are usually only two to three floors that require pipework and sanitaryware (toilets, sinks etc.). A commercial building could have multiple floors, all of which require toilets, sinks, pipework and a water system that maintains a constant pressure throughout.
