Alister Hubbard – Senior Engineer
Alister worked with his dad from a young age learning about boiler maintenance and faulty heating systems. As time progressed his experience was gained through working for many businesses varying from installation and maintenance through to manufacturers technical help teams. He has also worked within a corporate environment and in public facing roles.
Some of Alister’s achievements include managing a large 3-year contract, averaging 50,000 jobs per annum with a team of 26 engineers. In addition, he managed other small projects with a team of 14 engineers during the same 3-year period.
His experience has been very customer oriented and he feels that a key element of the service the company must always offer, is good service and a friendly atmosphere.
With Alister’s experience there is no project too big or small that he will work with; his knowledge has been backed with ongoing professional qualifications and manufacturers training. He also believes that all education is important.
Joshua Norman-Hubbard – Operations Manager
Joshua started as an apprentice with Alister in 2010. He completed his apprenticeship in 2014 and was even nominated for apprentice of the year in his second year. Josh has worked hard throughout his time as an engineer and does not shy away from difficult situations.
Josh enjoys a challenge and over time is seeking further projects to get involved with. He has taken on a mentoring role within the company, training new apprentices and passing on his acquired knowledge from over the years.
Josh has the qualifications of an all-round gas engineer, can carry out domestic and commercial projects and is continually attending manufacturers training. Over the last 5 years he has worked on many renewable developments and is always actively looking to find new technologies available on the market.
Jon Rushmere – Installation Engineer
Jon joined our company as a qualified gas engineer 2 years ago. As part of our company policy we have certain criteria that we endeavour to provide to our customers, and Jon underwent internal training to work alongside our other engineers for 3 months to gain an understanding of how our company works and what is expected of him as an engineer/employee. Jon took this in-house training and excelled from it; he is a very conscientious person, he reads up on information about products daily to keep himself up to date. Jon is qualified to maintain Natural gas, LPG, and oil appliances and systems.
